- Jyrki Katainen has been the Head of Group Public & Regulatory Affairs at Nordea since October 2023. Before joining Nordea, he had an extensive political career with experience from high-level leadership positions. He served as Vice-President of the European Commission for Jobs, Growth, Investment and Competitiveness (2014-2019). He was Prime Minister of Finland in 2011-2014, following four years as Minister of Finance in 2007-2011. He was the President of the Finnish Innovation Fund SITRA (2020-2023) and Member of Parliament of Finland (1999-2014). He holds Master of Social Sciences.
