Davide Baruffi

  • He was born in Carpi in 1974. After completing his secondary education in scientific studies, he studied Political Science at the University of Bologna. In 1999, he became the Mayor of Soliera, a position he held for ten years. In 2009, he was elected to the Provincial Council of Modena, and the following year, he served as the Provincial Secretary of the Democratic Party (Pd). From 2013 to 2018, he was a Member of Parliament (Deputy) for the Emilia-Romagna constituency, serving on the Employment Committee and the Parliamentary Committee of Inquiry into Counterfeiting. During the 11th legislature, he served as Undersecretary to the Presidency of the Emilia-Romagna Regional Administration. He is currently regional Regional Minister (Assessore) for Strategic Planning and Program Implementation, EU Funds Programming, Budget, State Property, Personnel, and Mountain and Inland Areas.
