Post-2027 Cohesion: Best Practices for a Genuine National-Regional Partnership

The session will focus on developing governance structures for national-regional partnership plans (NRPPs), demonstrating how they can ensure meaningful participation of local and regional authorities in implementing reforms and strategic projects. Starting off with lessons learned from RRPs, we will concentrate on governance design and flexibility, highlighting ways civil society, academia and the private sector become active and committed partners. Representatives from various EU regions, neighbouring regions and European institutions will compare proposals and local needs, leading to recommendations for effective NRPP governance that drives structural reform and regional policy change.
