- Elia is a PhD researcher with over 15 years of international experience in sustainable value chains, circular economy and resource efficiency. Her work focuses on transforming complex environmental and social sustainability challenges into practical, evidence-based solutions, bridging science, industry and the public sector. She has led and contributed to multidisciplinary projects across Europe, Africa, Asia and the Americas, with expertise spanning biomass and agricultural residue valorisation, climate and energy transition, Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), Social Life Cycle Assessment (S-LCA) and carbon footprinting. She combines technical expertise with international project leadership and stakeholder engagement to develop innovative solutions that deliver measurable environmental, social and business value.
