A graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Gdańsk. Doctor of Laws.
Director of the Department of Regional and Spatial Development, Office of the Marshal of the Pomorskie Voivodeship. He has many years of academic and teaching experience at the Faculty of Law and Administration, University of Gdańsk, as well as professional experience within the structures of the Office of the Marshal of the Pomorskie Region – currently as Director of the Department of Regional and Spatial Development, and previously as Director of the Department of Economic Development. He deals with issues relating to socio-economic development planning and the management of EU structural funds. He is the author of a number of publications in this field.
He has been employed in regional public administration since 2005, initially as a senior specialist in the Department of Regional and Spatial Development. His professional experience includes, amongst other things, participation in the preparation of several successive editions of the regional development strategy and the regional operational programme for the management of funds from the European Union budget. Directly involved in negotiating the aforementioned documents with the European Commission. Directly involved in work on the implementation in Pomorskie Region initiatives supporting urban development and entrepreneurship: JESSICA and JEREMIE.
From 2002 to 2013, he was a lecturer at the Faculty of Law and Administration, University of Gdańsk. He is the author of publications on the theory of the state and law, as well as the legal basis of regional development policy.
