- Until 2002, the speaker worked professionally in the field of territorial planning and building design. Since 2005, he has worked on public passenger transport for the Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia, including, since 2008, rail transport and cross-border transport, a sector of particular importance given the region's geographical position bordering Austria and Slovenia and its direct competences in this area. Since 2025, he has also covered cycling mobility and freight transport. He currently serves as Director of Public Transport, Mobility and Logistics Department of the Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia.
