This session explores how multilevel governance can create effective spaces for the uptake of scientific knowledge in policy development, strengthening regions and contributing to a stronger Europe. Bringing together the United Nations, the European Commission, regional governments, universities and local initiatives, the debate will examine how research, evidence and community knowledge can inform territorial development across levels. In the context of the future Multiannual Financial Framework MFF, participants will discuss practical tools, governance models and shared values to support more evidence-informed, collaborative and place-based public action.
