- Agricultural Engineer graduated from the Barcelona Higher School of Agriculture (ESAB-UPC) and Professor of Chemical Analysis at the same institution. He is a founding member of the European Compost Network (ECN) and a recognised expert in the separate collection and management of biowaste. With more than 30 years of experience at the Catalan Waste Agency (ARC), he currently serves as Director of Strategic Planning and Acting Director of the Circular Economy Department. He led and coordinated the preparation of the Catalan Programme for the Prevention and Management of Waste and Resources (PRECAT) and the draft Law on Waste Prevention and Management and the Sustainable Use of Resources in Catalonia (2018 – 2021).
