- Paolo Ponzio is Full Professor of History of Philosophy at the University of Bari. His research, spanning from the Renaissance to the twentieth century, focuses in particular on Tommaso Campanella, the relationship between Galileo, science and theology, and the metaphysics of Xavier Zubiri. He is the author and editor of monographs, critical editions and numerous essays published in national and international journals and volumes.
He has taken part in PRIN, Erasmus+ and Interreg projects, combining academic research with scientific coordination activities and the editorship of the journal Elementa. Filosofie e storie delle filosofie. He is President of the regional consortium Puglia Culture.
