The European Week of Regions and Cities website requires EU Login with two-factor authentication.
EU Login is the central user authentication service of the European institutions, bodies, and agencies.
It allows users to access a wide range of EU resources, including websites, applications, and services, using a single account. EU Login also adds a layer of protection to the sign-in process through multi-factor authentication (MFA).
Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) adds a security layer when connecting to an application. This helps confirming that it is really you trying to access an application, and not someone impersonating you. The Second Factor (2FA for 2 Factor Authentication) means you need to perform two steps to log in:
- first your password
- then an additional verification method.
Please follow the below instructions to set up your EU Login and Two-Factor Authentication:
How do I create my EU Login account?
What second factor can I configure with my account?
How to configure and use the EU Login mobile app?
(for recurrent users) An application requires a second factor authentication, but I do not have access to it anymore
