What if Europe was born in a square? The city of Cáceres presents TRANSCULTURA, a model transforming territory through the spirit of transhumance, the ancient seasonal migration of livestock that wove connections between people and places. Based on listening and care, it bridges rural and urban, linking ancestral memory with contemporary creativity. At a time of growing disconnection, can culture help us belong again? This session will present concrete experiences from Cáceres and open a space for reflection. It aims to spark exchange and explore the potential of a FUTURE NETWORK OF TRANSCULTURE CITIES across European territories, in collaboration with UNESCO.
