- Michael Mäs is professor of sociology and computational social science at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany. Michael's research focussed on social integration, democratic decision making and processes of opinion polarization in small and large communities. He is developing mathematical models to derive novel hypotheses and tests them with data from surveys, laboratory experiments, and the Internet.
