Medium-sized cities are key implementation partners for the European Green Deal and EU Missions. This session brings together cities from Finland, Sweden, Denmark and the Netherlands to examine how local and regional authorities translate EU climate and energy policies into systemic change. Through concrete regional cases, the session highlights governance models, ecosystem partnerships and policy instruments that enable medium-sized cities to scale climate‑neutral energy and mobility solutions across Europe. Particular attention is given to the role of industry and business clusters in driving investment and innovation.
