“Taste the Resilient Thessaly” presents Thessaly as a region in transition from climate crisis to resilience. Recently affected by severe floods and water stress, it highlights water management challenges in an agriculture-dependent region. Local products (feta, chestnuts, kiwi, wine, olives and olive oil, honey) become storytelling tools showing challenge, intervention and outlook through EU Cohesion Policy support. The experience links tasting with understanding and emphasizes prevention over reaction, including a regional Civil Protection Centre using real-time data and early warning systems, connecting local transformation with EU priorities on climate adaptation and resilience.
