The session will examine how regions drive the transformation towards equitable, people-centred, community-based mental health systems, focusing on the gap between policy commitment and implementation.It will showcase regional strategies and practices to address mental health disparities across the life course, with attention to women and gender-related inequities. It will explore how regions translate EU ambitions into action and how European frameworks better support implementation, drawing on partnerships with EU institutions and WHO through shared learning, coordinated governance and sustainable investment.The session will include keynote inputs, panel exchanges and audience interaction.
