Island Communities in Action: Showcasing Local Innovation and Building European Partnerships

The Local Councils’ Association of Malta represents all 68 local councils and 6 regional councils in Malta. For the first time, it will take an active role in the European Week of Regions and Cities, showcasing local projects and building new partnerships. The stand will present practical initiatives that improve quality of life in island communities, with a focus on women in leadership, and the empowerment of children and young people. The Association has long been active at European level and looks forward to sharing its experience, exchanging ideas, and connecting with regions and cities across Europe.
