- Vania was appointed Secretary General in September 2024, bringing nearly twenty years of experience working with membership-based organisations. During that time, Vania led the development and implementation of advocacy strategies and influencing policy change at European and global levels in a range of environments from youth to development cooperation and social justice. Vania is driven to support regions to work together and give regional governments a strong voice in Europe and beyond.
