Strong neighbours, strong Europe

Our stand showcases how Interreg programmes at the EU’s external borders (IPA, NEXT and Outermost Regions) enhance cooperation between EU regions and neighbouring countries. Through concrete examples, it highlights place-based solutions addressing shared challenges such as geopolitical pressures, demographic change and economic development. The stand demonstrates how cross-border cooperation fosters sustainable communities, strengthens resilience and security, and reinforces regional solidarity by tailoring solutions to local needs on both sides of the border, contributing to balanced and sustainable development across the Europe and its neighbourhood, supporting also the EU enlargement.
