- Elena Nevado del Campo is a Spanish Member of the European Parliament since 2024, representing the Partido Popular within the European People’s Party group. A lawyer by training, she brings extensive experience from national and local politics, having previously served as Mayor of Cáceres (2011–2019), Senator, and member of the Assembly of Extremadura. In the European Parliament, she works notably on regional development and public health, contributing to discussions on cohesion policy, territorial development, and citizens’ access to essential services, while also engaging in interparliamentary relations with Latin America and Central America
