- Ms Valeria Ronzitti has been General Secretary of SGI Europe (formerly CEEP) since May 2012, after joining the organisation in 2003 as a legal advisor and progressively taking on senior roles, including Head of Social Affairs and Director. A jurist by training, she has extensive experience in European social dialogue, having represented SGI Europe in key cross-sectoral negotiations on issues such as work-related stress, violence and harassment at work, inclusive labour markets, and parental leave. She also served as Director of HOSPEEM (2005–2010), where she contributed to establishing the organisation and negotiated a sectoral agreement later transposed into EU legislation. As General Secretary, she oversees SGI Europe’s strategy, policy development, and external representation.
