Andrii Naida holds a strong background in technical and managerial fields:
Technical Education: Graduated from the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas (IFNTUOG). He holds a Master’s degree in "Equipment for Oil and Gas Industries" (defended his master's thesis in English).
Academic Degree: Candidate of Technical Sciences (PhD).
Public Administration: Holds a third higher education degree in the field of Public Management and Administration.
Professional Career
Prior to his election as Mayor, Andrii Naida gained extensive experience in the industrial sector, advancing from a blue-collar worker to executive management positions:
Worked at industrial enterprises, including "Karpatnaftokhim" and the "Kalush Pipe Plant."
Held positions including maintenance worker, head of the workshop, chief engineer, and director.
Is the author of numerous scientific papers and holds patents for inventions in the field of industrial engineering.
Activities as Mayor
Since 2020, Andrii Naida has served as the Mayor of the Kalush Territorial Community. His work focuses on the following key areas:
International Cooperation: Actively develops partnerships with twin cities in Sweden (Växjö), Germany (Munich), Poland, Belgium, and Italy.
Energy Efficiency: Initiates projects for energy decentralization and "green" transformation, including the installation of solar-powered street lighting and the implementation of modular solid-fuel boiler plants.
Youth Policy: Facilitates youth engagement in local government through the Youth Council and the organization of internships at the City Council.
Integration and Recovery: Actively represents Kalush at both national and international levels, particularly within the framework of community European integration initiatives and conferences on the recovery of Ukraine (URC).
