  • ​Andrii Naida: Biography ​Personal Information ​Date of Birth: January 30, 1979. ​Place of Birth: Kalush, Ivano-Frankivsk region. ​Education ​Andrii Naida holds a strong background in technical and managerial fields: ​Technical Education: Graduated from the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas (IFNTUOG). He holds a Master’s degree in "Equipment for Oil and Gas Industries" (defended his master's thesis in English). ​Academic Degree: Candidate of Technical Sciences (PhD). ​Public Administration: Holds a third higher education degree in the field of Public Management and Administration. ​Professional Career ​Prior to his election as Mayor, Andrii Naida gained extensive experience in the industrial sector, advancing from a blue-collar worker to executive management positions: ​Worked at industrial enterprises, including "Karpatnaftokhim" and the "Kalush Pipe Plant." ​Held positions including maintenance worker, head of the workshop, chief engineer, and director. ​Is the author of numerous scientific papers and holds patents for inventions in the field of industrial engineering. ​Activities as Mayor ​Since 2020, Andrii Naida has served as the Mayor of the Kalush Territorial Community. His work focuses on the following key areas: ​International Cooperation: Actively develops partnerships with twin cities in Sweden (Växjö), Germany (Munich), Poland, Belgium, and Italy. ​Energy Efficiency: Initiates projects for energy decentralization and "green" transformation, including the installation of solar-powered street lighting and the implementation of modular solid-fuel boiler plants. ​Youth Policy: Facilitates youth engagement in local government through the Youth Council and the organization of internships at the City Council. ​Integration and Recovery: Actively represents Kalush at both national and international levels, particularly within the framework of community European integration initiatives and conferences on the recovery of Ukraine (URC).
