European Week of Regions and Cities

Fit for purpose: EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region promotes a more resilient, competitive and decarbonised region

The better we work together across borders, levels and sectors, the stronger we are to address challenges in the Baltic Sea Region and tap into the full potential of this strategic area. The EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region facilitates territorial cooperation and the effective use of resources across borders. This seminar will engage with representatives from the EU, national and regional levels to discuss how the newly updated action plan (2026) aggregates the needs and challenges of states, cities, and regions across the Baltic Sea Region. The action plan sets the direction for transnational cooperation and overall enables the development of a competitive and resilient macro-region.
