Regions advancing climate resilience: towards the implementation of the Pact for the Mediterranean and the connected EU Macro-regional strategies

This political debate highlights the pivotal role of Mediterranean regions in driving climate resilience through the PfM and EU Macro-regional Strategies. As a global climate hotspot, the basin requires coordinated pathways to transform European objectives into concrete territorial action. The heart of the session features a high-level exchange with distinguished guests from the EU Parliament and Commission: MEP Carlo Ciccioli and Mrs. Bonvissuto (Team Leader, EU Mission on Adaptation to Climate Change). Moderated by Davide Strangis (CPMR) and led by the Calabria Region, the speakers will showcase how the PfM and integrated strategies provide the roadmap for building a sustainable future.
