European Week of Regions and Cities

North-East Romania: Taste, Discover & Connect - 7,000 Years of History and Living Traditions

Romania’s North-East Region opens a window into its rich cultural heritage and identity. The concept focuses on the transnational Gastronomic and Cucuteni–Trypillia Routes, jointly created with Moldova and Ukraine, showing how communities and cooperation drive regional development. Visitors are invited to discover our living traditions, selected charcuterie and cheese, award-winning wines and authentic flavors. Immersive VR tours will bring our landscapes to life. An artistic moment, showcasing local UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage, will enrich the experience. The stand demonstrates how local resources and cross-border cooperation build stronger regions and, therefore, a stronger Europe.
