The workshop shows how involving young people in strategic foresight leads to fairer, more realistic and forward‑looking decisions, and how their ideas can shape choices made today for the years ahead. It explains why youth perspectives matter for policies affecting future generations and how decision‑makers can better listen to and work with young people. Proposed speakers include representatives of a vocational institute that teaches young learners to think about long‑term change, an advisor on implementing a Futures Generations Act, and two politicians from the European Committee of the Regions. Opening remarks will be delivered by the CoR Foresight Coordinator, Ms Jelena Drenjanin.
