On the Road to URC 2027: Brussels Dialogue on Local and Regional Recovery

Estonia and Ukraine will co-host the Ukraine Recovery Conference 2027 in Tallinn on 28–29 January 2027. As an early step on the road to Tallinn, this dialogue, held alongside the European Week of Regions and Cities, will contribute to the preparation of the conference’s Local and Regional Dimension. The event will bring together Ukrainian, Estonian and European representatives, local and regional leaders, development partners and relevant networks. It will provide an opportunity to discuss and refine the proposed focus of the Local and Regional Dimension in line with Ukrainian priorities, identify practical initiatives and feasible results that could be prepared for Tallinn, and explore how partners could contribute to further cooperation on local and regional recovery. The programme will feature opening keynotes by representatives of the Ministry of Regional Affairs and Agriculture of Estonia and the Ministry for Communities, Territories and Internally Displaced Persons of Ukraine, followed by a moderated panel discussion and an exchange with the audience.
