The event will explore how structured cooperation and peer learning between European cities can accelerate integrated urban transformation. Representatives from Bucharest-Ilfov and partner cities will share practical examples and transferable solutions in climate governance, low-emission areas, green-blue infrastructure, intermodal mobility and the regeneration of industrial heritage inspired by the New European Bauhaus. The workshop will bring together representatives of European and national institutions, local authorities, urban development and mobility specialists, EU project managers and other stakeholders. It will provide a space for exchanging experience, identifying opportunities for cooperation and discussing how knowledge and good practices can be transformed into successful projects supported by European funding. The programme will include institutional opening remarks, good practice presentations from Pardubice, Chitila and Bucharest, a moderated panel discussion and conclusions on future funding and partnership opportunities. The event aims to strengthen institutional cooperation, promote the Bucharest-Ilfov region and facilitate new partnerships for sustainable urban development.
