European Week of Regions and Cities

Beyond 2027: What kind of cross-border cooperation do regions and cities need?

How should Interreg evolve after 2027? What do regions and cities need from cross-border cooperation in the future? This interactive webinar explores both the achievements and the future of Interreg cooperation in the Baltic Sea region. Participants will gain insights into the tangible results and impacts delivered by Interreg Central Baltic and Interreg Baltic Sea Region projects during the 2021–2027 programme period, while contributing to the discussion on the next generation of territorial cooperation. The needs of regions and cities for cross-border cooperation will be explored through a panel discussion bringing together programme representatives and regional stakeholders, as well as interactive group discussions. Participants from across Finland will have the opportunity to reflect on emerging regional needs, shared challenges and new opportunities for cooperation across borders. The event is held in Finnish.
