Three territories lead by Navarre will get together to present their models and strategies on cross-border cooperation. The session will be conducted in French and Spanish, and it will consist of two round table debates between representatives from all three regions, as well as regional cooperation institutions. Navarre is a region that shares a 170km-wide border with France and has a historical record of commitment to cross-border cooperation. In this respect, amongst others, we are working to achieve in 2027 the Atlantic Macro-region. This is reflected in Navarre's participation in several cross-border mechanisms, namely: agreement with the French Department of Pyrenees-Atlantiques; or with Nouvelle-Aquitaine and Basque Country (Euroregion); and the CTP (Spanish-French Pyrenees). In this session, we will also engage with officials of DG Regio and the CBC intergroup of the Committee of Regions.
