European Week of Regions and Cities

Bridging Barriers and Building Futures: Shared Lessons from the PEACEPLUS Journey

This high-profile event aims to bring together leading political representatives, decisionmakers and policy influencers from the EU, Ireland and UK. The discussion will examine the long-term impact of the €1.14bn PEACEPLUS Programme and explore how lessons from peacebuilding, governance and cross-border cooperation in our region over the past 30 years can inform regional development across Europe. Will include insights from a new publication co-produced by SEUPB and London School of Economics on impact of EU and partner funds in Northern Ireland and Ireland. The event will build on SEUPB's highly successful previous Brussels events, which consistently attract strong interest and engagement.
