- Representative, Friends of Smart Specialisation
- Richard Tuffs was Director of ERRIN before retiring and is now part of an informal network called Friends of Smart Specialisation which promotes the uptake and research into smart specialisation. Richard was Chair of the S3 CoP Interregional Cooperation WG (2023-2025) and continues to present and moderate on the topic of smart specialisation especially within Interreg Europe peer reviews and the E3DRES2 university alliance.
