- Currently serving his third term as Member of the European Parliament, Siegfried Mureșan is the European Parliament's co-rapporteur for the post-2027 long-term EU budget. He is Vice President of the European People’s Party (EPP) and Vice Chair of the EPP Group in the European Parliament, coordinating EPP’s activities related to the EU budget, regional development, agriculture, and budgetary control. He is Chair of the Delegation for relations with the Republic of Moldova and member of the European Parliament's Committees on Budgets, and on Economic and Monetary Affairs.
