Regional engagement of UAS St. Pölten. E³UDRES² Case

The higher education role is getting more important for skills, talents, innovation and development within regions. The E³UDRES² European University Alliance mission focuses on non-urban regions and close cooperaiton with local authorities, businesses and organisaitons. The UAS St. Pölten as a member of the E³UDRES² went through its regional engagement review including the views of regional ecosystem partners. The event will present the overall goal of the E³UDRES² alliance, its focus on regional community, share the conclusions from the regional engagement assessment including the international partners’ experience from other European countries. The main objective of the event is to reflect on the proposed recommendations and discuss with local & regional authorities, institutions and community how to strengthen the impact of the UAS St. Pölten within the regional ecosystem, how to enhance the cooperation and its effectiveness, how to benefit from the expertise and links within E³UDRES² alliance. Similar events will be held in other countries where the E³UDRES² partners went through similar activity (Finland, the Netherlands and Portugal). The results will help further strategy of all institutions and the E³UDRES² alliance as regards stronger voice and benefits for the regional ecosystems.
