How can a city become more sustainable and liveable - and how can data help? The Green City Hackathon invites citizens aged 16 to 99, with or without prior experience, to work with real environmental data from Heilbronn (temperature, air quality, urban greening) collected together with local residents. Over three days, participants develop their own questions, analyse and visualise data in teams, and build prototypes - from interactive maps to dashboards - supported by experienced mentors. The hackathon shows how citizen-generated data can shape place-based solutions for a stronger, greener region.
