From Tremezzo to the Future: 80 Years of the Republic and the Welfare State - Rights, Policies and the Local Area

80 years ago, a few months after the referendum that marked the birth of the Republic, the International Conference on Social Work was held in Tremezzo; a defining moment for the social policies and of social work of the following decades. 80 years later, a new commemorative conference will be organized to reflect on a strategic necessity for local authorities, community of social workers and the Republic. The morning of Saturday 31 October is dedicated to high-level institutional and political speeches. The Executive Vice-President of the European Commission and European Commissioner for Skills, Education, Culture, Labour and Social Rights, Roxana Minzatu, has been invited.
