European Week of Regions and Cities

Building the future of rural areas, from Rural transitions Labs to European policies

This full day is about ennsuring a just and locally beneficial transition in rural Europe. This day will be splited in two relevant parts to bridge the gap between European Union ambitions and rural realities. The first part will be more technical with the presentation of the INTERREG project results called RURAL TRANSITON LABS. The session will highlight the project methodology, innovations, learnings and pilot actions. Then, empowered by those concrete results, the second part of the session will be a policy dialog. The goal is to discuss the policy recommendations that emerged from the project, in order to reconnect rural areas and european institutions.
