- Jakub Stolfa is President and founder of the Automotive Skills Alliance (ASA), where industry, education and training providers, social partners and public authorities are around the same table to solve a practical challenge: how to equip people with the skills Europe’s automotive-mobility ecosystem needs—today and over the next decade. He is an academic at VSB–Technical University of Ostrava, where he earned his Ph.D., Jakub turns strategy into delivery by building programs that works for industry as well as education.
He and his team coordinated the DRIVES Blueprint for the automotive sector and led a work package in ALBATTS, the Blueprint for battery skills in electromobility, and led the TRIREME blueprint project focusing on skills development in the Automotive Sector. These initiatives produced EU-wide competency frameworks, training pathways, and tools that make it easier for companies to define roles, for workers to upskill/reskill, and for providers to align curricula. Jakub’s expertise spans strategic development, program and project management, skills intelligence, and the design of training and education programs—grounded in a technical background in informatics and mechatronics in Automotive sector.
